Anyone know or able to measure in a quick minute the width of the clamp on the boot for the airbox? I forgot to take this measurement and need to order some clamps.

I'm thinking something between 7-9mm should work?

Measure the groove on the boot. Or just order some from xjforever.

+1 only use the stock clamps ...when these bottom out they are proper tension , a regular hose clamp can be over tightened and cut into boot. The same goes for the intake clamp .

I was at work during the post hence asking lol. Also as a Canadian xj4ever is too much

Don't have stock clamps. Can't find used locally. Not going to use auto store clamps.

Seems stock clamps are about 8mm wide

I still recommend getting originals! however if yr stuck.....

Use the jaw on an open end wrench or a caliper to measure the groove width in mm.
Give me a rough diameter in inches with a tape if needed or caliper in mm. i have bins of random boot clamps at the shop where i work, can probly sell you some used ones that will fit proper n not cut the rubbers for 4-5 bucks each n about 20 shipping CAN $
Pm me if yr interested ill give you contact info.

Either way do NOT buy standard hose clamps, theyll cut yr boots and then you WILL be buying parts from xjforever.

No offense to xjforever but I'll look at ebay first before as price vs shipping will be cheaper for nos or slightly used.

I visited a local shop and they had a giant box of clamps and I found a set of 4 that work perfect.

I'm aware of what normal clamps do.
