Floats

    Am I just stupid I would think the bevel side of the float faces down in the bowl . But installed that way the float bar will rest on the needle seat and not allow float to drop down and shut off fuel . No matter how I set the tang .

    Hitachi are one of the few carbs that floats will fit upside down.

    Yup tried them like the second pic and seems the more I move the tang towards the float valve the more gas that floods out . Checked the valve and seat both are clean and no damage to the rubber on the. Valve and move freely
