    hi
Wondering if the 18 inch Seca rim fits the Maxim. Any modifications required

Fits right up. You will change the steering geometry by doing so though.
Be sure to get the brake plate along with the wheel.

Is the brake plate different. The wheel is from Europe and no brake plate

Actually I'm mistaken. I was thinking of the 750 wheels. By the parts book both the 550 Seca and Maxim use the same size rear brake and plate.

Thanks for the info guys. Just went with slightly taller tire. Went back to the 16 tooth front sprocket. My ride today was cool-1 Celsius. Just added heated grips which were needed today
