you will hear the wine of the drive shaft and alternator. you should hear the valves ticking away.. what sounds do you hear?

Well, i think theres a lot of noise on the angines head, like if theres an oil problem, or working dry, and a whistle kind of noise start to sound a min or 2 after cold start and it don't go away, and it comes from inside engine, so i guess i'll have to start with repairs rigth away.

    Diagnosis before repairs.
The whistle is the alternator, and that's normal.
The clatter from the head is the valves working, and they should be making noise. If they are quiet that is a sign that the clearances are too tight and need to be adjusted.

Compare yours to the one in this video, and I think you'll find that what you are hearing is normal.

Thank's mr. K-Moe, sorry for takin so long for replay, that video helped me a lot, and my bike its up and running now, the problem was manteinance, no oil circulating, the valve lifters were running dry, i took the oil filter out and it was awful! totaly blocked, and there was some kind of mud very dense, so i replace de filter, clean parts with gasoline, put new oil and now sounds like a champ, just like the one in the video and like you said diagnosis before repair.

Thanks and let's continue with the restore.
