Aluminum coating?

    Perhaps a repeated question, BUT .... Whether it's clear coat or whatever, do any of you know any good solvents, etc. to remove that aluminum coating all over the front end, motor, and whatever else. I have used different cream polishes but that's almost out of the question considering how old I am, and how many years it would take. I have buffing/polishing equipment but don't want to disassemble the bike to shine 'er up! Just wandering if anyone of you have any good ideas ..... even if it does make me feel extremely stupid and inadequate ....
