I own an XJ 750 Maxim 1982, my question is; are the motor mounts the same as the other bikes in this broad category as the XS1100. I had an XS1100 and made some aluminum motor mounts to replace the rubber ones. That was a popular mod for the XS1100 to tighten up the chassis for improved handling. I did it on my big XS and liked the result. Just wondering?
    Cheers, 50gary

The Seca 650 and 750 use solid mounts that press into the same holes that the Maxim mounts fit into. They are a direct swap, just be careful to support the mounting ears sufficnently when pressing the solid mounts in.

FYI, I switched my Seca to rubber mounts (I have CTS, and needed to reduce felt vibration), and did not notice any reduction in handling.
