    Ok I have my 82 seca 750 . I put new fork seals. Now it rides like a dump truck dont know what I did wrong . Damping or I did notice friction sliders looked scuffed up .Does anyone on here rebuild or have a set of good forks .

    this is how i ask incase you forgot to change oil.;) 10.4 oz per leg?
    did you do any work on the antidive? there is an adjusting screw on them.

    maybe springs were put in upside down?

    not sure what this means.
    Now it rides like a dump truck

    how much psi did you use on forks? 36 psi is maximum setting

    It rides hard , hitting bumps almost jars the whole bike .

    Sounds almost like hydraulic lock, IE too much fork oil OR too much air....can you quite easily compress the forks, sitting on the bike, front brake on?

    If you brake from speed..carefully, does the front 'lock up and chatter' (vibrate) could be a sign of way too much anti dive.....I hate most of the anti dives I've ever ridden, preferring to back off to almost zero effect....

    put some grease on the forks go hit some bumps and see just how much travel your getting

    I would drain and refill, that I hope would get rid of a hydro lock. This would also give you a chance to see how much oil you have in there for sure and maybe even run lighter oil.
