For Sale, a 1983 Seca 750 with the full touring package that was dealer installed. I am the second owner, I bought it from my wife's "Uncle Chuck" last summer. He hasn't been able to ride in years and it sat in a backyard shed since (I think) 2007. Now ready to go anywhere. The carbs are Dave Hogfiddles Fox Specials. Valves checked and only 1 needed adjustment. Steel brake lines, new fork seals, new fluids everywhere (obviously). Yamaha's silly cable operated master cylinder has been replaced with an R1 unit. The anti-dive devices on the forks have been removed and blocked off with plates. The gas tank is without dents and has been POR-15 coated. It was not rusted but I have had other tanks rust out and fail so most of mine get that treatment. The fuel petcock has been replaced with a full manual unit. The exhaust is a 4 into 2 header of unknown maker, slight surface rust but no dents or other damage, sounds nice, not loud. New tires front and rear, new plugs. The rear turn signals have been replaced with a home made LED license plate surround. I did not like the bracket holding the originals sticking out and appearing floppy and clumsy. Currently has 23602 miles, I have put about 1500 miles on since completing the rehab. It has some nicks and chips in the body work but everyone who has lived has some scars. Any questions or other pictures needed just ask. Clean title ready to easily transfer. I have all the take off parts to go with it if you want to make it 100 original. No I did not cut the handlebar pad for the new master cylinder. Asking $1400. Located in Harpursville, NY. IMG_5781.JPG

To follow up..... I have seen the bike, heard it------it's a very nice 750r, for sure. If I didn't already have half a dozen, I'd be all over this one.

Lots of looks but no obvious interest. If you think my asking price is out of line start a conversation with an offer. We can go from there. By the way, I think I forgot to mention the fuse box upgrade, but it is done as well.

They look like single-wall replacements to me. Single wall pipes will discolor no matter what the fuel mixture is set to.

Well, I hate it when folks post ads for their bikes as "bike for sale" and that is all. The bike sold to a fellow in NC this last week.

Kerriskandiesinc, were you interested? I didn't hear back after i sent you a text? If your not interested its no big deal. I will get around to Starting my own for sale thread and take more pictures but the bike is tucked under my stairs in my heated celer for winter so getting clear pictures is not possible without moving wife's Rebel and other Summer Items, lol.
