I just posted this on the end of my old thread but should have just started a fresh one. Here it is.

Okay, I'm going to try this one more time.

Every couple of years I get motivated to sell my 1982 XJ750 Seca. I post it up here and/or CL in San Antonio and I get complements that I appreciate but I haven't been able to find a buyer. I still think she's worth $1500, but I'm motivated and I've lowered my price to $1000.

Her stats haven't changed from the first time I posted.

    9,377 miles.
Rebuilt and repainted 14 years ago and hasn’t been on the road since the checkout.
No dings and no Bondo under the paint.
Completely original except the exhaust, rear shocks and fuse box.
Has owner’s manual, tool kit and built-in lock & chain.
    Has always been garage kept.
I only rode it in the rain once.
I didn’t install the tank emblems after the repaint, but I have them (and the rear-view mirrors).

    The bad:

The gas tank has rust on the inside and a botched sealing job (from the rebuild).
I haven’t run it in over 10 years
The tires still have the sprues from the molding process—but they’re 14 years old.

I'd still like her to go to someone in the XJ community vs. someone off the street from Craigslist.

Here is her current state of in my way!

Holy crap, man... is that a Toyota Celica GTS??? Please tell me it's a square back as well.

That is exactly my first car... same color and everything. Mine was a manual transmission with almost 200K on it and I never should have sold it.

No, that's my '89 Toyota Turbo Supra. It's a stick with a targa top and 150K on the clock. I'm the original owner, like my Seca, but I'll have the Supra 'til I drop. For some reason, the site won't let me post any of my more recent shots.

    Nice Car :)
The hood and quarter panel looked like my old GTS from the other angle. I had a red square back and then a silver hatchback like yours.

Although I must have been transposing the two in my mind... the 85 red one looked like this

And the silver was more like yours... oh well.
