1983 Midnight Maxim - For Sale

I have a 1983 Midnight Maxim. I bought it off I believe the original owner about 4 or 5 years ago. I brought it home fired it up and it ran a few miles then died out. The gas in it had been in there for a few years. I cleaned out the carbs and then she ran good. When cleaning the carbs I had to replace a couple jets they just crumbled. Also one of the float reisers broke off. I Jb weleded it on. The bike ran good but decided I wanted to fix it up. I dissassembled and had the frame sand blasted and primed. I then decided to paint it with the paint that changed between gold and purple. I let it set for a few months since it was just spray paint for it to harden. During this time I somehow managed to scratch the gas tank. This pretty much made me lose interest in the bike and it has been disassembeld in my garage for the last couple years.
I do not have any interest in the bike anymore so am looking at selling it whole or possibly parting it out. I found this list and figured I would post it here to see what the interest is. The tires are brand new. I think I have an extra exhaust manifold and maybe an extra exhaust pipe. The inside of the gas tank looked like new. It had a dent in the top that I kind of pushed out. I live in Aurora Colorado. I currently am cleaning out the garage and have parts in a pod in my driveway. If there is interest I can pull it out early. I have the title for the bike also.

What part of Colorado are you in?

 

I am in Aurora Colorado. Where are you located. I doubt I would keep it around until april. I am driving out to Kansas City on the 2nd of Feb though.

 

Its ironic, I am flying to Kansas City tomorrow afternoon for work.

However, I am from Indiana, no problem if you don't hang onto it until April, I'll just have to find a parts bike once my travels for work are done at April 15th

Well a few years later and still have the bike in the same condition. Sorry about not getting the pms. Had some stuff happen and a computer crash and next thing you know it is 2010 before I know it. If anyone is still interested the above description still applys.
