    It's been a while since I've posted about this bike so wanted to show it off. A LOT of work, learning and (some money) has went into this bike and it has been worth it. From sitting in a barn for 20 years to current condition.

    Hi Riley K,
    Wow that's a really nice looking motorcycle! It's pretty mich identical to the one I bought nearly new in 1993 which evidently found its way to Ireland via the Official Yamaha network. Did Canada get the US style speedometer ? I guess not since the units would be wrong? At the moment I have a rolling restoration, its silver but I have red bodywork that I'm thinking of using but it needs a little work. Did you repaint ? How did you get the right colour? Happy travels when the restrictions are lifted, best wishes in the meantime.

    Thank you, a lot a of time has gone into it.

    It is a Canadian speedo KM/h! I did repaint it, sanded and primed and then painted with some spray able paint from the local hardware store. Nothing fancy but not bad for me doing it in the garage my self. The colour is close to the original but not the same, a little brighter red I think.

    And to reply to k-moe yes it needs new brake lines. First on the list this summer.
