REV PROBLEM

    Went for a ride today and had a problem with the bike "sticking" below the 5000 rpm it would rev like normal hit 5 grand and wine like i had it wound out--- also the tach dropped to zero.....any ideas i plan on doing a lot of work to the bike and tuning the carbs i was just wondering if maybe it is electrical or internal

    Check for a sticking throttle cable, especially if the bikes been sitting for a period of time. Pickup some cable lube and a lubing tool and hit those cables.
