I tried everything cheap to fix this, flashers on right flash ok/flashers on left steady. Ok, so what if now I go to the dark unorthodox idea box and install an auxiliary flasher on the common hot feed of the front/rear left flashers

if it doesn't flash on one side, then that side has a bad bulb.

Switch left for right bulbs (both) and does the problem follow the bulbs?

I believe these bikes require a 27 watt bulb. LEDs will not work without modifications

have you replaced both bulbs on the left side?

or just switch the bulbs from left to right side to test bulbs just like you would do with spark plugs.

is bike running when you do this sometimes not enough voltage to get bulbs to flash.
how is the charging system output?

I replaced the bulbs all around. I'll start the bike and see if the flashers get more power. Also
read on the multimeter how much voltage is coming over that feed relative to the other side.

I tested the voltage on the right flashers 9.2 volts dropping to 2.2 as the flasher relay cycles
and slightly higher with the engine running 9.5 +- v.
