can anyone tell me anything about the air in the fork tubes ? my left fork had no pressure in it . i put 17 pounds of air in it. i will find out in the morning if it keeps the air in. but from someone with a little experience can anyone tell me where they usually leak air or is there several places where they can leak from. fork seals were replaced two years ago at a dealer but not totally rebuilt. thanks. this is a 1983 midnight maxom

that is what makes this site a good site. lots of history in posts and people responding to questions. everyone learns and then can help others.
the interesting part is your 83 does not have a balancing connection between forks where the 82 does and the 650s do as well.

i kinda like the fact they are not connected it makes them more independent. i did replace the air valve last night and it did hold air , again thanks
