I've put a lot of thought into this but I have no desire to build the same bike again so it's up for grabs. I've been staring at the parts for over a year and haven't started anything. I have five other bikes to play with anyway.

This bike was fully restored between 2014 - 2016 and met its demise in October 2017. I've sourced all the parts to rebuild and had a replacement frame powdercoated to swap the parts over. There are plenty of extra parts to go with such as a good exhaust, set of rims, 750 Maxim tank, the list goes on. New wheel bearings still in package.

I can't guarantee that everything needed is there but I would bet its 98% of the stuff.

I have almost $5k in receipts from the first build. Asking $1k for everything. Both the wrecked bike and replacement powercoated frame have titles in my name. Located just west of Cleveland OHIO. I no longer have a truck so you would need to pickup. Shipping is a possibility if you arrange it but there is a lot of stuff.

Less than one week before the accident:

Your bike is a museum candidate. It should be in a high end collection. I have never seen such a fine job
I have done four of these maxims and never came near this quality. It's better than new. There are bike museums
    that seriously may want it.

what happened to the bike? If you keep it and need parts i have some that you can have. Some of the parts are heavy so if you are around Tuckerton new jersey you can have them.

    Part are:
Straight forks with new progressive springs installed, 6 months of use
    seat
    air box
    signal lights
    speedo
    atari housing
front with rear rim with new tires (rear tire has gouges)

Lady turned left in front of me, had nowhere to go and no time to do anything but hit her head on. Frame and front end are toast. I have all the parts to fix it, just lost interest in building the same bike again.

I'm keeping the Seca 650 so that'll satisfy the XJ bug. I have enough "projects" to keep me busy for the next decade :D

That's a sweet project for someone to pick up. The hard stuff's been done, so it's like assembling a kit now!

Get up, dust yourself off, and get back in the saddle.

No issue there, it’s just not fun building the same bike again. I may be keeping it though, no leads here and I’ve had to refuse sale to some others from Facebook because it was clearly not going to a good home.
