I have a 1981 XJ 650. Every time I increase the RPMs, it blows the main fuse. Any ideas on what I should look at?

CTD, you need to check to make sure the connections coming from the regulator are making good contact. As the bike revs up, the regulator will control the rise in voltage, this is its normal function.
