    e bay and a drink and now it is here a bright and shiney xj 600 n , i must be mad but needed somthing to do as work will be closing down due to the coronavirus soon and this will keep me happy , only just got it into garage so will be looking over it in the next few days and will report back to you all .

    hi here in the uk it is not a seca just an xj 600 n have looked at it better now and i will have loads to buy and i think the exhausts will be the main problem .

    Slanted motor is that what they call the 600 diversion? Looks like it will keep you busy for a while.

    I wonder if the swingarm would fit in xj550. It would be nice to get the disc brake on the rear.

    ^^^^That is a good looking bike with nice lines... Not too sure how good any of those fenders (front) would work on wet or muddy roads/trails?

    hi been in the garage for a short time turns out this is a 1995 xj 600 s not an n needs work but came apart ok , just cant get any more done due to the coronavirus wanted to get it powder coated so will just have to clean parts for the next few weeks , realy not going to modifi it just change the color . blue i think some pictures attached can any one spot what is wrong with one of the pictures ( not the broken bit ) .

    out of the garage now all small parts painted and waiting to be refitted but cant get frame and swinging arm blasted and painted so e bay here i come loads to buy and cash in pocket bigist problems are the rear caliper and exhaust think a delvic exhaust will be fitted just cant find a rear caliper for the right price , sorted new clocks and side panels for £50 will be collecting them soon , the bike will be on the road in months not years like the xj 550 i built ,

    stay safe keep in doors and look after yourself.

    I noticed that the tires are mounted reversed on the painted/coated rims. I could be seeing it strange cause of the photographs. Just wanted to give a heads up.

    quick up date getting there at this rate will be finished soon sorted rear caliper (well my mate did ) still have wiring issues and just run out of paint and as the paint is free from work it may take time to get some more as i have been furlowed for another 3 months ,

    quick up date bike now runs have had to take a time out on it as i am back at work and playing catch up so it will now go over into a winter resto , but just having spent 3 weeks sorting the wiring i have finally got it running , note to self check the earths on the wiring harness ...

    hi few more bits done, new exhaust (Delkevic 4 into 2 ) sounds great , all brakes working , seat recovered , some more paint work done and can you spot what is different as i made a mistake ,

    finally finished after a few problems had to replace the tank as it leaked badly , also the clutch slipped when first road tested so new clutch fitted but it rattles badly so looking to strip it down again suspect dowel pin for oil pump is worn we will see , booked in for MOT Saturday so fingers crossed mirrors not fitted yet still waiting for them , cant wait to try it out now .
