    You can use the URL for your XJBikes.com avatar in there, too.
    1. Right-click your avatar
    2. select properties
    3. right-click the URL listed
    4. click select all
    5. right click again
    6. select copy
    then log into the chat room.

    Assuming you've already created an identity in the chat room using your XJBikes.com nickname, left-click your name. A popup window will be displayed. Over-paste the default image text listed under the picture textbox with your new avatar URL by hitting CTRL+V on the keyboard. That should do it. Your XJBikes avater will import and resize automatically.

    The chat is flash based. Perhaps your machine doesn't have enough cycles left to support it.

    Try closing windows and applications.

    I'm using an older (slower) computer in the shop. I've found that the chat room uses enough cycles that everything else becomes painfully slow.

    I dont have anything wrong with the xj chat, I like the youtube videos that everyone can watch at the same time and photobucket pics showed at teh same time, its cool

    If the client uses flash, as this implies, then I'm not certain this solves your "I hate Flash" problem. Yes, I know there's a stock IRC channel set up -- I stopped by there once. One of the users in there had such a burn on for Flash that they were bagging on the people that used the Flash site. I got tired of the crap and left.

    Still, I think it's a good idea -- an integrated chat channel right here on the site would certainly make it a bit easier.
