Help with the transistor in my TCI

    Does anybody know the proper transistor put in a TCI I have done some research and I believe it's a St 901t. But it appears that there are several different kinds do I need the 2: amp the 4: amp the 350 watts the 400watts if anybody knows I would appreciate some help or where can I just buy a new one or get this one fixed by somebody else the one that's in the motorcycle I believe once was on a Maxum when I took it off somebody is written on the back in magic marker Maxim I'm not even too sure if they're interchangeable

    Go to w w w. Xjcd.org they list replacement transistors in there how to fix tci's thread you will not be able to find the original transistors that are inside the TCI as the part number on them is not available and possibly proprietary. You will see some listings for them online but they are not the correct part.

    Depending on the version they also use the Hitachi 2SD1113, which I think is in the newer versions. If you need to replace it I would suggest opening and verify first which one you need to order.
