Has anyone out there had any experience with ajustable handlebars or know where such an animal could be found? Several months ago I took a BMW for a ride (I never wanted to get off) and it had quick adjustable handle bars. These are wonderful for a long ride to help change position every once in a while.

I can't seem to find anyone who carries a similar product for bike such as ours.

    thanks

My '82 750 Seca came with the adjustable handlebars you mentionsed. Infact, I still have them up on the shelf here somewhere if your interested in them. The only problem with changing to the adjustable bars is the fact that the upper fork brace needs to be changed to mount the bars because they will only mount to an upper brace that has the knurled knobs on it to mount the bars to (which I don't have anymore) an you can find one here somewhere I'm sure.

    Painter,
Do you think there may be a way of modifying the mount on those bars to make it work with the standard top brace?

If you find those bars shot a pic of them for me if you could.

    Thanks

    Great Buffalo,
You would have to get the top triple tree from a Seca for the bars to work (I cut mine up for another project) I would imagine you can find that on Ebay or maybe someone has one here for cheap.
On a 750 Seca, there are two large knobs on the top of the fork clamp (triple tree) instead of risers, where the bars mount onto, so you'll need that for your bike. The 650s and 750 are the same, so it is an easy swap.
I will dig out the bars and shoot you a photo of them later. >PD<

the 82 Max has the same types of bars, you can adjust them 2 different ways to make it fit better
