No, I'm back. And I do truly appreciate all the support and faith in my abilities. I'm not just "poking" (note avatar, c'mon) but my participation won't be as extensive as before. That said, it's clear you need somebody to plug the "550 gap" they really are different in more ways than most folks realize.

I've got a couple of (not huge) pieces, one I was working on from before--- but still working out the pics. I tried logging into Photobucket for the first time in forever, and was given the choice of "delete a lot of stuff" or pay us money right now. Bastiges. I couldn't even get in and just look around.

Meanwhile, #1 Son has the '81 now, and has been doing rather well by it. I'm riding the '83, wearing stuff out, and about to do a bit of a face lift on it as the black nickel plating I spent too much money on 10 years ago is not holding up all that well. I'll write it up. I've also begun the process of recommissioning my Norton, so the Seca is less of a project and more of a alternative form of transport of late.

Good to see all you guys still keeping the flame, and thanks again for the support. It's good to be back...
