Hello everyone I am having trouble getting the carbs done for my 82 xj650 maxim I just dont have the time to finish them I have one done. I already have the kits for these carbs and they are completely broken down. I soda blasted 2 of them and then cleaned with carb cleaner and a soak (3 and 4). I'm in need of someone to finish rebuilding this rack and making sure its level and ready to be re installed. I learned my lesson I will never break the rack again. If anyone offers this please let me know the cost.

Dave Fox, aka "Hogfiddles" does this. He should be along here on the forums shortly, or you can start a conversation with him. He does a most excellent job on these carbs. He has done a couple of sets for me and it is almost always put them on and go with minimal to no tweaking or messing with. Look for the "Ow, my eyes!" thread, it high lights a rack of carbs he built to be PERFECT. He keeps them in a glass display case.

Breaking a rack of carbs is entirely necessary when refurbishing a machine. You made the right choice in that regard.
