    Not sure if this is an appropriate spot for this, admins please let me know if not. Ran across this craigslist ad, including parts for XJ650R. Note he says 1981 but I think that the 650 Seca sometimes gets labelled 1981. He sent me a picture and I just can't justify this nice of one (I figured I would check it out just in case since they are so hard to find).

    A USA on would be ‘82.... he may be looking at the date on the headtube sticker, or it might be a Canadian 650.... USA had the maxim designation to distinguish our maxim from our Seca ( which is the Xj650 that the rest of the world got, and it was just known as the xj650).
