I think the best looking XJ is the one you are looking down at, as you cruise down the highway on a sunny day.

    Like the Seca's more.
So after 3 Magna V65's and manymany km's later bought a Seca again.

I'm not a huge fan myself. Decent looking for sure though. I have to say aesthetically, I like the '82 XJ1100 and of course XJ700/750X best.

I think the XJ1100 is a good balance of cruiser and muscle. I prefer bikes that show the engines vs those that 'cover' them and the 1100 has plenty to display, however I do think a more upswept muffler would make the bike look even better.

The Maxim X does much of the same visually and I think the front rake adds to its aggressive look. In my opinion, the 'X' might have even looked better in a "Midnight Special' version, with more black-out, carbon fiber, or wrinkle-finish accents.

I do like it. It's rattier than mine :)

The real beauty lies in the sound above 5000 RPM anyway.

Any pictures or did I miss those?
The XJ1100, not delivered in NL, looks very nice too!

    Of mine? In my Showcase.

She's an honest rat (meaning that I just haven't fixed nonmechanical flaws). No disrespect to the intentional style.

I can add more pics upon request. She's gained a few dings in the past few years.

Nice bike indeed with the trailer. Thought about a trailer too when riding the Magna's but... in europe you can only go max 80 kmh, on the autobahn max. 60 kmh (???)and not allowed in Norway by law. They probably won't fine you but all in all too many restrictions so I declined.
