I'm almost finished the Seca restoration project, the only tricky item remaining is replacing the needles and faces on the speedo and tacho. That will involve disassembly which I'm reliably informed is not easy.
Does anyone know of instrument repairers who are capable of this work? I don't mind shipping overseas.

    Man those gauges look pristine!
    Damn.
Not sure about your particular gauge set but mine, basically xj750 seca, came apart with screws.
The needle is a plastic hub on a brass gear and it pretty much levers off.
    So...
If my gauges looked like that picture I'd be damn happy already!
Oh and your dog is cool.

The red on the tacho has completely faded, a new tacho is available via cmsnl however if that was replaced it would mismatch with the Speedo, as the needles & black backing will have some fading. The rest of the bike looks like new but the instruments don't.
... and Stu (the dog) is a real sweetie
