Hi XJ owners! I’m have just recently had a beauty 1985 Maxim XJ 700 come into my possession. It does however need a new Tachometer and gauge cover. Any body have these parts or advice on where to look. EBay currently to my knowledge have any leads.

    Any ‘85-86 xj700, xj750....

airheads and Maxim X have the same gauge round back covers.

The center cover is different from air cooled to liquid cooled. Liquid-cooled has the opening for the temp gauge, air cooled is solid across the top.

The ‘84+ xv700, 750, 1000, 1100 use the same cluster as the air cooled xj with minor differences
    1-xv700 gauges are black faced
2-some front covers can have round lights instead of ovals
    3-1000 May have gold trim
    4-redline is different

In short, you have lots of options for cover sourcing.
