I am looking at a parts bike with seized carb slides. A 750 maxim. Is this generally fixable?

If they’re seized badly due to metal to metal reaction, just get another rack. They’re all over.

Most of the time they will. Occasionally they won’t.

Yes and if they were seized due to corrosion what has it done to the surfaces of the carbs and slides?
If it was petrol gum you're fine.
Good store of racks there @hogfiddles
