XJ550H wiring confusion

    I just purchased a 1981 XJ550 maxim yesterday, the bike was cheap so I picked it up as a new project. The seller claimed the wiring was redone, but by the looks of it the only thing that was redone was the fuse box was updated to a more modern one and they have relocated some things. After looking at wiring diagrams and all that jazz I still cannot find where this connection (in photo) is supposed to connect or what it’s for.

    It looks like the main input to the fuse box, if so it would connect to the battery plus.
