So surely someone on here must have fitted a full length seat and duck tail cowling to the ex cop bike frame
If so how did you go about it
If not how does everyone clean up the back end on this model please don’t say “with saddle bags or panniers “

    cheers

Here's pics of my 650Turbo conversion to XJ650RJ.
I assume you're looking to convert to the same configuration.
We didn't see your police specials in NA, I'm not aware of anyone converting one so I think you're on your own.
Compare the frames, can you line up any mounting holes?
If not the easiest, and best approach is to find a donor frame and salvage what you need.
Junkyard frame with kinked steering stem would be ideal.
In my case I went from a seat which completely removed with the key to one that was hinged.
You'll need to compare the frames.

Your cop bike has the tank from the 750 Seca so everything will need to integrate with that.
Side panels, seat, tail piece, grab rail, inner and outer rear fenders, tail light etc.
My personal view is that these stock components will look better than home fabricated stuff.
The flat ironing board seats look, ahem.. home made to me.
