    Not digging the mufflers,but otherwise an awesome build! Kudos for the guts to build this!

    They are stock mufflers and exhaust. At least I have seen them on several Maxims.
    All we did was add a 45 degree pipe and weld brackets for the new muffler location.

    Yes, the pipes are a Love 'em or Hate 'em thing. I got the idea from a bike I saw on the net. Link to that picture attached.

    Great Job!

    Not huge on the streetfighter headlights on a bobber, but overall the bike looks great.

    I didn't see that Bike sitting around for very long.
    That was a SWEET Lookin' build.
    Very distinctive and real "Mean-looking"

    I wasn't too keen on the "Truck-like" twin, large muffler's ... but, I knew they wouldn't get in the way of somebody buying it fast!

    Thanks for all the kind words guys.
    There was actually a bidding war today for the bike.

    My next project will be 2 XS650 's, with a hard tail and Springer front end.
    I am building 1 complete bike and 1 rolling chassis.:wink:
