'85 XJ700X Ignition Coils

I am trying to find a pair of new ignition coils for my 1985 XJ700X. The coil mounting bracket appears to be OE and has mounting bolt holes at 85mm centres. All the coils I can find have 100mm bolt hole centres, as do the ones that are fitted at present, which have had extra holes drilled through the bar to enable them to be fitted to the mounting bracket.
Can anyone please enlighten me as to the original or correct fitting, and any advice as to the best aftermarket alternative coils that will fit onto the original mounting bracket.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

The mounting bracket is correct and I've had good luck with the Dyna Mini Coils:

You'll need 7mm wires and make sure your plug caps have the correct resistance when using non-resistor plugs.
Or you could modify the plug caps for 0 ohm and use a resistor plug:
