Colortune washer

    I have lost the washer for my colortune. Could I use an old washer off a sparkplug, or does it have to be copper?

    I don't see why not it cannot do any harm to try it l think. Copper will be softer but the spark plug washer seals too.

    I can't use the copper washer on my XJ700X because there is a counterbore at the bottom of the plug well that captures the washer and won't let go. On both ColorTunes I replaced the copper with one from a spark plug, which stays on with no issues.
