    Memorial Day weekend this year marks 25 years of ownership with my 1983 XJ750K. It is still as much fun to ride as the day I bought it.

    I have a grainy front view picture from 1993, parked with 2 Kawasaki gpz's in the front yard for a Then photo. The Now photo was taken a few months ago in the garage. There are many more photos from the early days that still need to be scanned. That would be a good summer job for my teenage son.

    Memorial Day 2022 marks another 5 years of ownership bringing the running total to 30 years. I wasn't able to get a ride in because of heavy rain on and off but I did shine up the chrome.

    I bought my '83 XJ550 Maxim the weekend before Easter in 1985. I am guessing March 30 1985 I drove my brand new XJ off the dealer lot. So, 37 years for me.

    I was living at home while in grad school, but my dad was south for the winter when I bought it. He returned for Easter and took this photo. He hated cycles...his only words were "Nice knowing you."
