    Hey all,
    I'm trying to help another guy out with a question. Will the clutch pri drive gear comp for a 85 xj700 fit on a 84 xj600?

    PRI DRVN GEARCOMP piece that holds all the clutch plates in.

    The clutch basket? Also known as the primary driven gear?

    I doubt it would swap. The 700 basket part number is unique to the 700s and the 900RK.

    The part numbers show they fit XJ600 and XJ550, pretty sure I have one and lucky for him I live 8 km away
