I have the Slipstream Spitfire on my bike. It works pretty well and is easy to remove. I might get a "winter" shield that includes the hand grip shields.

My XJ650 came with a similar one by Road Krome.

It is showing some stress cracking at the holes which should not be a problem with the National Cycle ones and their no hole attachment.

The ones you showed all seem to have a 2 point mount, like the Road Krome does. It can vibrate a lot at times.

On the JC Whitney Site the streetshield EX is very positively reviewed.

Thanks for the responses, guys. And thanks, MiCarl, for the JC Whitney info.

For interesting viewing, check out this YouTube video comparing polycarbonate to acrylic:

Hmmmm..... I wonder which will stop that rock better? And if anyone ever comes at me with a shotgun, well the choice is clear! :)

I have the National Street Shield EX, model N2561 on the Seca (see pics in my gallery). I paid around $75 on eBay. The EX is a slightly thicker shield, with a 4 point mounting system, and comes off and on in under a minute. I find the size to be just big enough to be effective, yet not too big as to be obtrusive or really noticable. I had tried a Slipstream Spitfire, but found it too small for my liking.

I'll second the Street Shield EX.

The slightly larger shield makes a big difference at highway speeds.
