If I try the delorean look, I might have to install a flux capacitor.

Harley uses it on some of their custom paint jobs. They grind a pattern into the metal first. Looks pretty good in person.

I think if you use it as accents or to highlight a certain part, it would look ok, but not for the entire bike. But that just me!

For some reason, kalecoauto has been on every one of the automotive and motorcycle forums I have ever been a part of. If just pops up randomly in different threads. Quite hilarious if you ask me!

hahah indeed. if you are looking to go that route though i'd suggest getting a can of aircraft remover... i don't know why its called that but it takes paint off of anything... powdercoat epoxy you name it it will eat it off... after you get all that off you just put a wire cup on the grinder and put some nice swirls (only if you want of course but IMPO its BAMF) into it and then 7 or 8 coats of matte clear coat will do the trick... used to do the same thing on BMX bikes... don't know why but the 'raw' look was a fad for a while...

OK, I called the company directly and they say it should be great for polished engine covers and... they are even sending me a couple sample cans (along with a bunch of their other products)! I'll let y'all know the results as soon as I use the stuff.
