Electrical problem

    I have a 1981 xj650. My problem is it cuts out and revs slowly and other times it runs great. The weird thing is when the blinker is on it will give full power every time the blinker blinks. Is there a common place where the wire harness rubs on the frame? Thanks

    Could be as simple as poor ground.
