I know it's only January, and the snow is still flying for many of us, but I need ideas. I am planning a trip for June into Montana and Idaho, probably limited to 4-5 days as my wife is expecting in July, and I should really be home. I plan to go down the east side of glacier park from St Marys to East Glacier (great road) and should make it to Kalispell for night 1. My question is where to go from there? I have been told that the road south to Lolo and on to Lewiston is absolutely amazing. I haven't had the chance to do much touring in this region. Hopefully some of you locals and others who've had the opprtuinty can pass on some suggestions. Thanks again!

Since no-one else has any suggestions for this area. Is there anyone who wants to voyage into some uncharted territory in mid June!

haven't been through lewiston, but if you weasel your way to 200 and go through seeley lake, lincoln, and eventually missoula, the ride is killer. two lane and little traffic.

Head west from Kalispell to Libby. Great ride up thru the Yaak,Mt. Great views and twisties . that's good for a day ride. then head west on hwy2 to hwy56 south 30 miles . hit hwy200 go west to sandpoint Id. and head to the area you want to go.
