Last night I picked up a copy of Sport Rider magazine, from 1993, and started flipping through it. I came to a readers letters section and they asked why the magazine didn't spend more time testing and evaluating performance upgrades and parts. The answer was quite simple and direct. The average motorcycle will see a very small gain in power per dollar invested. If you want to ride fast, learn to ride better. Learn corner entry, how to be smooth, and the bike will become exponentially faster for less dollars spent. I also read a great step-by-step on how to make a bike faster. Step 1 was the one that really hit me square on the chin...

    1) FROM A STANDING POSITION LOOK DOWN TO THE FLOOR
    -can you see your feet?
    LOL!

Now that I've said all that, I hope that after I'm done installing my K&N Pod filters, Supertrapp muffler, Dynatek Coils, and get those new jets in my carbs, that my bike will be a whole lot faster. Now, where did I put those chicken wings!

Just a Sheep that wouldn't return my love!

All jokes aside, it may look silly, but on a long trip it really helps better than just about anything I've seen.

If you think that's strange, check these out.

Probably more comfortable than you'd think, but too tempting to fill with extra gas and use as reserve tanks. LOL

I also hope I never need such a device, at least not for many, many years.

Just to clarify, the sheepskin only gets used when I plan to go on a full day or more ride. The pic was taken at about the 450 mile mark of a 600 mile day, and I can't say I was dissapointed to have it. It also helps to save the seat at the front edge where it "bunches" up and wears quicker. I just wish I had a "cooler" dead animal to put on my seat.

Figured you guys should know that as I'm still on the small side of 30, I'm not some kind of geriatric or something.

    Regards
    XJ750GUY

There is a person who has a 550 Seca that is pretty impressive. Runs 11 sec 1/4 mile times and top end in the 140ish range. If i recall it was using all yosh parts. cruzerjd
