First time Building a bobber

    Looking to build my first bobber bike out of a 1980 midnight maxim 750 what would be the best way to do this without spending a ton of money

    take the front fender off and go ride! Just not in the rain LOL

    What @Simmy said. Take a nice ride on your stock bike and then take the same ride on a "bobber"and compare which one works better, rides nicer, more comfortably.

    I know many folks want to build a "bobber" they rip out the stock airbox and put PODS ...oh so cool ...why won't my bike run right . ( my opinion PODS suck ) next they hack the wiring ...why won't my bike run right . Take a swazall to the rear loop , and try to make it a hardtail...my bike rides like a buckboard when I can get it to run. I worked on a guys bobber for two weeks it was hacked super bad .
