    Hello.
I know it kind of been asked before.
Does anyone know if a 1994 xj900 engine will fit a 79 xs1100 frame. Thanks

Don’t forget the drugs! Psychedelic inspiration will be required to keep this project proceeding.

With those interesting gas lines that feed the carbs on the XS1100 why!? That is the bike with the double petcock and has fuel feeds for both sides of the four carbs right? No cross over fuel line between 2 and 3 carbs?

The 1100 engine is completely dead and I was hoping there was a more modern engine I could use. Thanks

    The engine is completely seized.
The bike had been sitting for many years before I got it.
Previous owner said the bike was running on three cylinders and that he tried fixing it but got bored and bought another bike.
Somehow water got into the engine while it was off the road.

Mix up some ATF/acetone (50/50) pore it down them cylinders and let it sit. When I say let it sit I mean a good week. Then go back and put a wrench on the crank or put the bike in hear and start to rock the engine.

I would try to get the engine to move before I just go and look for a donor motor. It is up to you, but just trying to work with what you have and same some money and get the bike on the road sooner.

    Good luck.
