    Hi All
I'm new to this forum and from UK. I'm bizzy restoring a 1991 xj600 and it's last test was 11 years ago therefore I'm looking to have new tyres fitted front and rear, I'm thinking of the BT46 as it looks a good all rounder general use commuting etc. The standard sizes for the bike are front 90/90-18, rear is 110/90-18.
my question is at this point of having new tyres fitted would it be possible to fit 100/90-18 front and 120/90-18 to the rear? And if it is possible would you do this modification? All advice appreciated.
    Thank you

The Bridgestones are a good choice.
When Yamaha designed the bike they could have spec'd a wider tire (and rim) but didn't.
    I'd go with Yamaha's choice.
