XJ900f Indicator relay right or wrong ?

    Hi, having had problems with indicators I'm replacing the relay.
    Thing is the relay I've taken off is 2 pin, but the connection block to it has 3 wires ? What is the 3rd wire for and is the 2 pin relay the correct one ? The bike is xj900f 1992... Thanks

    3 pin is later automotive style and will work
