1983 Xj750k vs 1983 Xj750m

    Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, not sure which one to submit in. I'm looking to add a windshield/fairing to my 1983 Xj750k and can only seem to find one for an Xj750m. Does anyone know the difference in the two? I'm thinking the M's only difference is the M is the Midnight Maxim and it should work. The fairing is from National Cycle and they didn't know. They said just make sure the handle bars can turn 100% side to side and freely.

    Only difference between the Maxim and the Midnight Maxim, is the Midnight is all black with gold trim.

    Thanks short_circutz. So then m and k are virtually the same and the windshield/fairing should work.

    Im not sure of the style of handlebars the maxim k have, if they are round like the midnight maxim it should fit. some of these windshield companies will send hardware that works on maxim j.

    Mine is a K, which have the normal bars and non-"Atari" instrument cluster.
