at what point in the bleeding process is the reservoir cover reinstalled ? can more fluid be added at this point ?
Is the proper level of fluid in the reservior just above where the expanded rubber would touch the fluid level as the cover is screwed down ?

I copied a trick from youtube. Injected fluid with a syringe first from left lower bleeder to left upper bleeder. then, from right lower bleeder to right upper bleeder.
Then from left upper to right upper ( by upper I mean the bleeders on the calipers) last was from the right to the left. each time I pumped the syringe to the next bleeder I would inject fluid until the bubbles stopped, then closed both off. All this pumping was with the lever tied back. Having topped up the reservoir, with the cover still off , I released the lever and started pumping it. It built up
pressure right away and I bled the last of the bubbles from the caliper bleeders. Big problem ! ( front wheel on stand) before I pumped the lever the wheel spun free. but after the last bit of pumping the lever, the wheel got harder to turn .Pulling the lever stops the wheel but now the wheel can be turned with effort. I have other bikes with duel front disks but when bleeding them the wheel spun free until I applied the brake and spun free again when the brake was released. Howw do I keep from locking the brakes ?
