fu257cd signal relay only works on right side.

    Hey friends, I have a 83 XV and the left rear signal causes the relay to stop while the right rear signal works. I have cleaned and checked the switch, which seems fine. I have no power going to the leftt rear signal, and have overhauled the rusted socket and replaced with a good bulb.

    The relay fu257cd looks fine and works well on the right, and doesn't even work when the left rear light is unplugged.

    What's wrong with the left circuit?

    What wattage are the left bulbs? Do your turn signals have seperate ground wires, or do they gound through the bracket?
    Check for corrosion and bad grounds.
