Rebuild carb xj turbo

    Hi

    I'am rebuilding the carb of xj turbo

    I have two questions:

    The 17,5 +-0,5mm for the float height is from the parting Line to the red mark or blue mark on the photo ?

    And how to adjust the pilot screw (how Many turn) ?

    What I do for initial float adjustment is to assemble the floats with the highest fuel level possible. Adjust so they close just before touching the body. I leave about 1mm visual clearance with the body.
    This is the highest fuel level possible without holding a float open.
    adjustments will all be one direction if any are required at all.

    Then the wet test.

    And i will manage the pilot screw with colortune
