Hello all, I am a new owner of an Xj 750 for a few months now and I'm having trouble finding the paint code for my red 750 Maxim, I've looked all over but I'm just not sure where to look to get the exact paint code. Hopefully, someone here can help me out.

I don't know, but I'm interested because I need to paint the tank and side covers. They are red.

Don't know if this helps but I have been trying to color match a 78 XS650 which is burgundy to its factory paint.
I'm rattle can painting and using Duplicolor Perfect Match.
I purchased 3 different darknesses. 2 of them the caps look different but painting them on, they look nearly identical.
Depending if Im painting over primer or a white basecoat, they also come out different (over white they are brighter).

You may be forced to trial and error

Are you refinishing all the painted parts? Or trying to color match? Do you have spray equipment or are you looking for rattle cans?
