Same guy that found odd ball bearings in my petcock here :)

Yesterday I changed the oil on my 1986 yx600.
This bike is currently non-running. It was crashed by the previous owner years ago. I found two small pins stuck to the magnetic drain plug.

Do these pins look familiar to anyone?

Hmm, oil pump drive sprocket? Easy to check, take clutch casing off.
The ones in my seca were worn flat...

    Thanks guys.

Sorry for the lack of knowledge-
Would I need to drop the oil before I open the clutch case?

Needle rollers from a flat roller bearing, thrust type. Many UJMs have them behind the clutch drum.

No, just tilt the bike over as far as you can. If you accurately measured those rollers someone might be able to give you a definite answer?

I’ll get an exact measurement next time I’m out in the garage.

There's a photo of the clutch thrust bearing from your bike that @Dave in Ireland is referring to. (not my photo, from ebay). Dimensions look similar, so I'd say he's correct.

At least it's the clutch and easy to fix instead of a transmission bearing.

Looks like Dave was correct, this does look like a roller from the thrust bearing.

I pulled the clutch case to verify and the loose pins are visibly identical to existing pins. The existing bearing isn’t currently missing and pins so maybe it was already replaced.. I see Rtv on the clutch case cover and a non OEM looking gasket, so I’m sure the case has been removed before on this 20k mile bike.

Can anyone think of another location for me to check?

I may just replace the oil and move forward with trying to start this bike.

Here’s the measurement of one of the loose pins:
