XJ650 engine id for valve clearances

    Hi started to check my valve clearance, the Haynes manual gives 2 different values (pic attached) and because mines an import I'm not sure which values are correct. It doesn't help that they all seem bloody tight !!
    My engine number is 37G - 002173 can anyone tell me what the clearance should please? Cheers Brian

    oh dear, do a search, this has been done and done, but to my mind it has not been explained why there is a difference.
    I have no idea why there would be two specs for the same engine, but I would go with the widest ones.
